Crustless Keto Quiche

Quiche is awesome, and being in Ketosis does not mean you have to sacrifice this tasty dish. What’s even better, is we can whip one up in 3 steps. Pretty sweet hey? You’ll love our Crustless Keto Quiche!

It took us a while to figure out what the best ratio of Egg to cream was, but the 4:1 seems to work best with these measurements. You can make it bigger if you like, just try to keep the ratios in tact or continue at your own peril!

A few quick notes: 

Cream – Great to have while you’re doing ketosis. It’s got a high fat content and low-to- no carbs. Make sure you check the back of your label when you buy to make sure there’s no added sugar. For example, whipped cream in a can will almost always contain added sugar. 

Eggs – One of the best foods on the planet. Under 1g of carbs and around 6-7g of protein per egg. It’s important to know that the yolk contains the majority of the nutrients.  most notably, the antioxidants Lutein and Zeaxanthin, which help keep your eyes healthy.

Crustless Keto Quiche in 3 Simple Steps  

You can add in any extra ingredients to your Keto Quiche as you like – Capsicum, olives, asparagus, chilli will all work (separately or together). I you’re new to the site, be sure to check out our recipe list to get an idea of what you can do while in Ketosis.

Our favourite part of the crustless Keto Quiche dish is the amount of time you can save. Perfect to store away in the fridge and have as a snack or a lazy keto meal when you can’t be bothered cooking.

Directions

Step 1

Preheat your oven to 375˚F (190˚C). If you have a Nutribullet, combine your Eggs, Cream, Salt & Pepper and give it a quick whizz until well mixed. If you don't have one, mix with a hand/electric mixer until well combined.

Step 2

In a 9-10 inch non stick pie tin/baking tin, create a layer with your bacon and cheese, before pouring in your mixture to cover it.

Step 3

Put the tin in the oven and bake for 45 minutes. When you take it out of the oven, it will still have a movement and seem like it hasn't set. Don't worry, let it stand for 5-10 minutes and it will set nicely. Serve and enjoy!
