For all those who struggle with excess weight and are not allowed to eat ordinary pancakes due to health problems, we have prepared a simple and easy recipe for Keto pancakes/low carb pancakes.

You can eat keto pancakes whenever you want, and they will not have side effects on your health. Keto pancakes contain a lot of protein, while carbohydrates are only present in very small amounts.

These pancakes are perfect for breakfast, lunch, or dinner if you want to sweeten up your day without adding a pound. If you are on a keto diet, then this recipe is perfect for you.

If it’s your first time here, remember – A Ketogenic diet will help your body use only fat as its main source of energy and thus lose weight. Those people who are struggling with weight must pay attention to their diet and not eat carbohydrates. You can also use this recipe to make savory pancakes. Keto recipes can help people preserve the muscles they need for the normal functioning of the body.

This simple Keto pancake recipe is sure to be a hit with whoever you choose to eat with! If you don’t have Almond milk, you can use water. We just prefer Almond milk to thicken the pancakes up a bit. You can also use cream (we do this too), which works a treat.

Optional Extras:

  • Mix in half a scoop of your favorite protein powder with the Almond flour. We tried this the other day with Cinnamon Donut flavor. Just make sure it’s low carb.
  • A teaspoon of Cocoa will also give this a whole new element. Add with the Almond flour.
  • Whipped cream! Get some thickened cream and throw it in a NutriBullet until whipped, or; use a hand mixer or fork. Plenty of tutorial on whipping cream on Youtube.

*Be careful adding fruit as most fruits are quite high in sugar. Not to say you can’t, but be knowledgable on what is in them first!

Directions

The following will make approx 4-5 pancakes depending on how much batter you pour for each.

Step 1

Whisk the eggs until well combined

Step 2

Add almond flour, salt, cinnamon, stevia, and almond milk. Whisk everything well in a blender or using a mixer. The dough should be a little thicker than the dough for classic pancakes

Step 3

Put the pan on medium heat until the oil heats up. Then bake each pancake in butter or coconut oil for 3 minutes on each side. Serve!
