Keto Tortillas:

Keto Tortillas work for almost any meal. In fact, they work for ANY meal. They’re a family neutral flavored base, so whatever you decide to fill them with will really make the meal. They won’t knock you out of Ketosis, but be careful what you fill them with!

A few ideas that can be by themselves or mixed all together for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner include:

  • Chicken
  • Beef
  • Bacon
  • Cheese
  • Salad

And of course you can’t miss dessert:

  • Whipped cream and berries
  • Peanut butter

Just be sure to not overdo the berries as they can be high in natural sugar. Just double check the nutritional value. You can always google this with “Carb content of: >your item in your measurement<“.

For example, “Carb content of 50 grams of strawberries” and go from there. 

Stay within your guidelines, and you won’t ever feel guilty, or worse; have an energy crash!

When it comes to the ingredients, they’re all pretty easy to find, and should be available at your local store. You can always keep this page open while you shop and tick off the ingredients as you add them to your shopping cart. Pretty cool, right?!

Step 1

Combine Coconut flour, Almond flour, baking powder, salt and Xanthan gum in a blender/nutribullet/food processor and use the pulse setting until well mixed. If you don't have one of these, a large mixing bowl and a fork/hand mixer will do.

Step 2

Add the apple cider vinegar and pulse a few times again. Then, add the egg and water and pulse a few more times again. You'll start to see a sticky dough forming. Keep going until it is holding together.

Step 3

Rub some cooking oil/olive oil on your hands and knead the dough into a ball. You can also use some cling wrap to do this, but we have more fun using our hands!

Step 4

Separate the dough into 8 equal sized portions and roll into balls. You should have no dough left over. We now need to flatten the dough into thin flat circles. You can use cling wrap or 2 sheets of baking paper to do this.

Step 5

Add them to the skillet one by one, but be alert for this part! As you add them in, cook for 5 seconds each side to seal, then for 30-45 seconds each side for each Tortilla. Then, we're done! Add your favorite fillings and enjoy! They are bet eaten straight after cooking.
